Listening to The World of Mother, I noticed none of the shrillness commonly associated with chiptune music.

The only real negative is that some of the tracks sound dated, especially the cheeseball 80s rock ditty The Paradise Line.

There is an old school Japanese OBI strip present that really adds some class and authenticity to the release, although it can definitely be a little tricky to remove without tearing.
